We offer a number of services for the home user. Due to travel considerations, Home User Services are only available to Florida customers.

PC Troubleshooting / Repair

As a result of spending 10+ years working with PC's, we have fairly extensive experience with troubleshooting them - both hardware and software issues. Unlike many "computer repair" facilities, we believe that preserving your existing system should be #1 priority - reinstalling software and upgrading hardware should be a last resort. This tends to require a bigger time commitment (don't worry, labor is priced per job, not per hour) but results in a higher degree of confidence that the problem is truly gone, and won't come back in a few weeks. We'll fix your PC with the same thoroughness and safety that we fix our own. After all, we'd really prefer not to hear from you again.

Data Recovery

Unfortunately, PC's do sometimes fail beyond hope, requiring a low-level disk format or system upgrade. Sometimes when this happens the PC itself is unbootable. Never fear, your data may still be there! And we can help you get it back, and provide you with a number of CD's containing your valuable data. We respect your privacy, and will not examine or keep your files.

Home Networking

Have more than one PC, and looking for a way to share your Internet connection? Did your ISP give you an "always on" connection (DSL or cable), but neglect to tell you about the security risks? Although home networking devices have dropped in price, the jargon and variety of options tends to keep this technology out of reach. If you'd rather not have to become an expert in IP routing, NAT firewalls, DHCP, DNS, security, and other confusing terms, or if you'd like to have someone with experience in this area help you learn while setting up a system, we can help.
